Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: Genuine depth and weight here. The nose depends on clean oak, lavender and a sprig of mint. An aroma captured from a summer garden.
Palate: Firm mouthfeel then an explosion of acacia honey controlled, somewhat, by soft oak.
Finish: Long, cream toffee, then bitter coffee and orange peel, finale. But with honey in the middle.
Comment: A thought-provoking, complex and enjoyable whisky.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: More honeyed. Spicier.
Palate: Firm maltiness. Vanilla pods.
Finish: Very fragrant. Hint of peat. Long. Glowing.
Comment: Liqueur-ish. With dessert?
