Taster   Laura Foster
Nose: Something funky and tropical. Pineapple and mango, sherbet, vanilla, black pepper and a metallic copper tinge with sawdust blowing in the corner.
Palate: You get that tropical fruit in there, but the predominant flavour here is vanilla. It blankets everything. There’s a fizzy feel to this, a touch of petillance if you will.
Finish: That vanilla has morphed into more of a chewy toffee or fudge character, studded with some pepper.
Comment: For those who love the sweets of their childhood.

Taster   Mark Newton
Nose: Light. Grassy, green tea, slightly soapy too. Herbal – bay leaves, sage-like. Ground almonds, white pepper, a sprinkle of coriander, but feels subdued.
Palate: Elderflower cordial, crème fraîche into a full creamy brie. Hoppy, with a maltiness revealing itself once green apples fade. Dry hops. Mild heat from black pepper, and grapefruit at the end.
Finish: Short, creamy, a little soapy, with the air of a commercial lager.
Comment: Pleasant enough, but rather underwhelming – as opposed to being very subtle.
