Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Fragrant and gentle. Coconut, tangerine, white fruits, elderflower, peach blossom, apple skin, freesia. Sweetly pure.
Palate: Perfumed, delicate and silky. Balsa wood, cream, coconut, citrus peels, light oak, candle wax.
Finish: Spicy, floral and lightly drying.
Comment: Holds its own beautifully against some heavyweight competition. Subtle.
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Fresh and lively. Green fruit. Kiwi. Honeysuckle. Pear drop. Muesli. Dried apple skin. Lemon.
Palate: Round, sweet, fruity. Citussy. A little grainy.
Finish: Fades away quickly but leaves a pleasant feel. Almond. A touch of chives.
Comment: A refreshing dram. Straightforward, clean. No complexity but it does not boast sophistication. Simplicity and natural are also great qualities.
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Vanilla. Green herbs. Aromatic. Dry.
Palate: Sweet limes. Leaf mint. Woodruff. Resiny. Oily.
Finish: Dry. Soothing. Long. Gently warming.
Comment: Plenty of attack, but straightforward rather than complex. Suggested as a base for cocktails. I'll work on that...
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: A light, fresh nose with touches of cereal, lemon, apple and a sandalwood-like spiciness.
Palate: White chocolate and almond, banana, lemon. Decent mouthfeel with soft grain and balanced wood.
Finish: Spicy/ginger nut, biscuity.
Comment: The nose is a little unrewarding but the palate has a delicate refreshing quality that lingers nicely.
