Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Prickly, the alcohol bites. Citrussy. The whole lemon :juice, pulp and rind. An earthy touch. Garden thyme. All that makes a pleasant combination but a bit one dimensional.
Palate: The alcohol bite again! The spirit dances on the tongue but with high heel shoes ! Then a sweet maltyflavours soothes the tastebuds.
Finish: Soothing,with an almondy aftertaste.
Comment: Invigorating but quite sharp. Like a Northern wind on a frosty morning. If you need to wake up.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Pale and rather feeble. Plastic.
Palate: Very light though with a certain sweetness. It's either young or knackered. In time there's some whitebread soaked in milk. Lacking in almost everything.
Finish: There isn't one.
Comment: Absolutely no cask interaction, making this the polar opposite of the last quartet. In a way this is a veryinstructive tasting.
