Bidding has opened online for the Distillers One of One Auction 2025. The biennial charity auction this year features 39 one-of-a-kind lots donated by Scotch whisky brands.
In partnership with auction house Sotheby's, bidding opened online on 15 September 2025. Most of the lots are on exhibition at Sotheby's New Bond Street, London, on display from 19 to 30 September. The live auction will be held at Hopetoun House near Edinburgh on 10 October 2025.
The one-of-a-kind lots featured in the auction include several multi-decade entrants: among the many is Glen Grant Eternal, at 77 Years Old; The Glenlivet's 60-year-old Spiral; and, at 53 Years Old, Aberlour's The Mouth of the Chattering Burn is its oldest whisky to date.
The varied lots include distillery experiences, partnerships such as that between House of Hazelwood and the Huntsman of Savile Row, art (an original drawing by Sir Quentin Blake is included in Livingstone Rare's Macbeth entry) and whiskies with bespoke presentation casing, such as Old Pulteney's Polaris, which includes copper reclaimed from the distillery's still.
One hundred per cent of the hammer price from the sales will be donated to charity, through the Distillers' Charity's Youth Action Fund. To date, through its first two auctions in 2021 and 2023, the Distillers One of One has raised £4.3 million, with the majority directed to the fund.
