Cherry-Thyme Julep
Ingredients
60ml (2 oz) Bardstown Bourbon Company Fusion #4
15ml (0.5 oz) rich syrup (to make this yourself, use a mix of white sugar and water in a 2:1 ratio)
2 sprigs of thyme
2 fresh cherries
Method
Strip all the leaves from a sprig of thyme into a Julep tin. Add rich syrup and cherries, and muddle. Add the Bourbon, stir, and add crushed ice. Garnish with thyme and cherry.
Strawberry-Basil Smash (Julep, if you prefer)
Ingredients

3 basil leaves
2 strawberries
Method
In a Julep tin, combine the rich syrup, basil leaves, and strawberries and muddle. Add the bourbon, stir, and add crushed ice. Garnish with basil and strawberry.
