Burns Night, celebrating the birthday of Scottish bard Robert Burns, is upon us, and to mark the occasion we've selected a cocktail that makes the most of his homeland's native spirit. Happy 266th birthday, Rabbie — slàinte!
Taking a twist on the Bobby Burns and Rob Roy cocktails, this creation is by Naomi Leslie, east coat ambassador for the Balvenie.
Ingredients:
- 50ml the Balvenie Caribbean Cask 14 Years Old
- 20ml tawny port
- 6ml amontillado sherry
- 4 dashes Angostura bitters
Method:
Stir on ice, strain into a coupe glass, and top with a small splash of dry sparkling wine.
