In a continuation of our St Patrick's Day-inspired cocktail selections, we've chosen a new recipe by Ohio-based American whiskey distillery Middle West Spirits. The distillery's recipe is influence by St Paddy but designed as an attempt to step away from "clichés". 

Our selection from Middle West's recipes is the Tea Time, which features iced green tea and an absinthe rinse for a refreshing and unusual cocktail. 

Ingredients:

45ml Middle West Spirits Wheat Whiskey 

7.5ml absinthe 

7.5ml lemon juice 

90ml iced green tea 

Method:

Rinse rocks glass with absinthe. Add remaining ingredients into shaker and shake until well chilled. Double strain into the absinthe-rinsed rocks glass over fresh ice and garnish with an expressed lemon twist.
