2-4 dashes of Angostura Bitters
15 ml fresh Lemon Juice
15 ml Grenadine

The Churchill
This one's a smoky twist on the Old Fashioned from Catoctin Creek, named ‘The Churchill’. This recipe (courtesy of Jonathan Coate) incorporates Lapsang souchong, a tea that’s typically dried with pinewood, which imparts a delicious smokiness into the cocktail. As for the name? Winston Churchill reportedly enjoyed putting whisky in his tea.
Ingredients
30ml Roundstone Rye whiskey
1tsp loose-leaf Lapsang Souchong tea
15ml simple syrup
Dash of chocolate bitters
Brandied cocktail cherry, to garnish
Method
For the Lapsang syrup
Using simmering simple syrup, steep the Lapsang souchong for approximately 10 minutes. Strain out the tea leaves and keep the syrup.
For the cocktail
Combine all remaining ingredients in a rocks glass with a big chunk of ice, and garnish with the cherry.
Sagamore Chai Tea Cocktail
Sweet and aromatic, this one’s a little more delicate, but not to be overlooked. This Chai tea cocktail from Sagamore Spirit perfectly combines the classic South Asian tea with rye whiskey, tropical pineapple, and cinnamon. Fresh, fruity, and delicious.

45 ml Sagamore Spirit Signature Rye Whiskey
30 ml fresh pineapple juice
30 ml lemon juice
90 ml Chai tea, chilled
15 ml cinnamon simple syrup

Combine all ingredients and serve over ice. Garnish the glass with cinnamon sugar for some extra sweetness.
