Together, Chaz and Christopher explore everything from the brand's origins as a venture by the Samuels family and the creation of its now-famous wheated mash bill, through cooking, fermentation, distillation, maturation, bottling, and the application of Maker's Mark's iconic red wax seal. Christopher also takes the chance to speak to Beth Buckner, senior manager of innovation and blending, about the Maker's Mark Cellar Aged — the distillery's oldest whiskey to date — and its special maturation in a chilly limestone cellar.
