The collection of small-batch whiskies contains carefully selected liquids from some of Ireland's top distilleries that are matured in vintage oak casks at its warehouse in Little Island, County Cork.
Hyde is co-owned by brothers Conor and Alan Hyde, whose family has been involved in whiskey production in Ireland since the 1640s - not in distilling, but the traditional craft of 'bonding'.
They source oloroso sherry hogsheads from Spain, rum barrels from Barbados, Bourbon barrels from Kentucky and Piot Noir casks from France, and have also experimented with port, madeira, cognac and beer casks. Once selected, each cask is charred to precise specifications before being filled.
Each whiskey in the award-winning Hyde collection is bottled at at least 46% ABV and is non-chill filtered. The 10-strong range is now available to purhase online through Master of Malt, with RRPs from £39.95.
