Launched by industry expert Isabel Graham-Yooll, Wisgy aims to support prospective whisky investors to access the old and rare spirits markets. Graham and her team of specialist consultants will provide independent, tailored advice.
Wisgy offers a range of specialist services, including: fraud prevention; independent authentication and valuations; theft reporting; collection and acquisitions strategies; and tailored brand advocacy programmes.
Founder Graham-Yooll has expert knowledge of the secondary market for spirits and wines, having most recently been director of Whisky.Auction. She has years of experience in the field, having worked selling and buying wines and spirits for Oddbins, Milroy’s of Soho, and Bordeaux Index.
In building her team of specialist consultants, Graham-Yooll has drawn on trusted connections made in the old and rare spirits industry throughout her career. The experts involved include distillers, collectors, crime agencies, and fraud specialists.
Graham-Yooll commented: “We created this suite of services now because the demand is there. I am confident that the need for Wisgy is a need so far unfulfilled and it has become achingly apparent in recent years as the market becomes busier and more complicated — and Wisgy is uniquely equipped to meet this need.”
