Indian whisky community the Dram Club is organising a trip for whisky lovers to visit some of Scotland's best-known distilleries.
The Dram Club was founded in 2019 and organises whisky tastings, masterclasses, and paired dinners for whisky lovers, taking in spirits from Scotland, the USA, and India.
Its next major event will be an 11-day trip to whisky's spiritual home, taking in much-loved Speyside, Highland, and Lowland distilleries including The Glenlivet, Glenfiddich, Glenmorangie, The Singleton, Glen Garioch, and Glenfarclas.
During their time in Scotland, guests will also have the opportunity to visit the Johnnie Walker Princes Street experience in Edinburgh, blend their own whisky at Strathisla Distillery, and see a barrel-charring demonstration at the Speyside Cooperage, and will also be invited to an exclusive lunch and whisky tasting with the Glen Grant master distiller Dennis Malcolm. There will also, of course, be the opportunity to buy bottles of whisky at the distilleries visited.
The Whisky Tales and Highland Trails trip runs from 30 September to 10 October and tickets include hotel stays, distillery tours and experiences, and meals (as mentioned in the itinerary). View the trip itinerary and book tickets here.
