Charity event Meet the Makers has revealed details of its 2025 line-up, hinting at what whisky and cigar fans can expect at the occasion.

The event will be hosted by Scottish whisky and cigar merchant Robert Graham 1874 in partnership with UK cigar distributor TOR Imports, held on Saturday 26 July 2025 at Carlowrie Castle, just outside Edinburgh.

At Meet the Makers, guests will have the opportunity to meet experts from whisky and cigar brands. Expected Scotch whisky delegates include Bruichladdich, the Dalmore, Tamdhu, Isle of Raasay, and Tomatin. More than 10 cigar makers from around the world will also be in attendance.

Scott Vines, managing director at TOR Imports, commented: “We are giving leaf and whisky aficionados the rare opportunity to meet first-hand with the personalities, expertise and fervent passion of their favourite makers from around the world and Scottish malt brands. Who wouldn’t want to meet the makers in the grandeur of a Scottish castle. This promises to be an exceptional and unmissable experience for the UK, Scots, and international visitors"

Stephen Johnstone, managing director, and owner of Robert Graham 1874, added: “If there’s one event to mark in your 2025 calendar, this is it. We’re paying tribute to the trailblazers of 'New World' makers and the legends of Scottish whisky.

“We hosted a smaller whisky and cigar event back in 2019 to celebrate our 145th anniversary, since then there has been an overwhelming demand for another event, and with our 150th anniversary upon us, we’re preparing for our most ambitious celebration yet, which has a charitable aspect supporting local and new world charities. We look forward to welcoming visitors from all over the world.”

Meet the Makers' charity partners are the Yard, a Scottish charity offering plate and respite services for disabled children, young people, and their families; Fe y Alegría, a Nicuraguan charity supporting access to quality education for children and young people living in poverty; and Lothian Children's Deaf Club, a community for deaf and hard-of-hearing children and their families in the Lothians region of Scotland.

Three ticket packages are available, with prices starting from £360. For more information and to purchase tickets, visit meetthemakersuk.com.
