Meldrum House Country Hotel will be host to an exclusive whisky event, taking place in their Titan Sky Bar dome. On 4 November, the hotel will celebrate The Yamazaki Limited Edition Collection.

Only 29 cases are available in the UK, with Meldrum House owning 4 whiskies from this year’s collection. Guests will have the opportunity to taste Puncheon, Spanish Oak, Peated Malt and Japanese Oak single malt, the latter of which has been crafted from Mizunara trees 150-200 years old. Each bottle of the Japanese Oak is priced at £2,900.

Managing director at Meldrum House Jordan Charles commented: “The very mention of a label like Yamazaki is enough to grab anyone’s attention and we’re proud to bring something like this to Aberdeenshire. Whether you are a whisky aficionado or want to sample some of the finest Japanese whiskies available, this is going to be a very special night at Meldrum.”

The whisky tasting will be guided by senior brand ambassador for Edrington Beam Suntory UK, David Miles.

There are limited spaces at the event, with tickets priced at £250 per person. The option to stay overnight with a full breakfast is also available to attendees at an extra £150 for two persons. To book, visit here.
