Tullibardine Distillery has announced the appointment of Minnie Parmiter as its new distillery manager. Parmiter will join the Highland single malt distillery this month.

Parmiter joins the company from Copper Lion Distillery in the Cotswolds, which she co-founded in 2020. A former biologist and academic researcher, her whisky career has also seen her hold positions at the Echlinville Distillery in Northern Ireland, Roseisle Distillery, and BrewDog Distilling Co.

At Tullibardine, Parmiter succeeds outgoing distillery manager David Myles, who retires this month after 20 years with the distillery.

Parmiter said: "I am delighted to join the team here at Tullibardine. David has managed the site for 20 years and has a huge amount of knowledge, so it is a real privilege to be learning from him.

"Tullibardine is a distillery with wonderful character, much of which has been imparted by David's tenure and by many of the operators who have been here for a similar length of time. I am honoured to be trusted with the custodianship of Tullibardine spirit going forwards and excited to see what the future brings."
