EuroWhisky, which claims to be the first business 'dedicated to European whiskies', is setting out to share drams and stories from the roughly 400 distilleries in Europe outside of Scotland and Ireland.
Based in the Netherlands, the company plans to launch a monthly subscription service which will give whisky lovers access to new and exciting whiskies from across the continent, as well as hosting a forum for members to share and discuss news about European whisky distillers, expressions and topical issues. EuroWhisky founder Harry Brennan says he would also like to run whisky tasting events to bring together drams from around the continent, from France and Finland to Spain and Romania.
The company is currently running a crowdfunding campaign with rewards available for supporters, which can be found at whydonate.nl
