Spirits writers and commentators Joel Harrison and Neil Ridley, founders of the whisky website Caskstrength.net, have announced they are partnering with iconic blended whisky brand Cutty Sark for their ongoing series of limited edition bottlings Caskstrength & Carry On- The A-Z of Whisky'.

The project has seen Joel and Neil partner up firstly with the Isle of Arran distillery ('A') and then Speyside-based BenRiach ('B') for their previous limited edition bottlings, both of which sold out in a matter of days.

For their third outing ('C'), the duo have turned their attention to blended whisky, working under the watchful eye of Cutty Sark master blender, Kirsteen Campbell.

This limited edition bottling of Caskstrength And Carry On Cutty Sark blend is released to coincide with the 90th anniversary of the brand, first created on the 23rd March 1923.

In further homage to the origins of the brand, the whisky will be bottled at 51.4% or 90 Proof, an unusually high strength for a blended whisky.

Just 500 bottles of this hand-signed and individually numbered limited edition Cutty Sark blend will be available from 10am on the 27th March, exclusively through online retailers Master of Malt.
