Scottish singer Susan Boyle, who became a global sensation after her performances on Britain’s Got Talent, is set to make a special guest appearance at Dram of Destiny.

Boyle will join an evening of entertainment and music at the event, which takes place at the Royal Highland Centre in Edinburgh on Saturday 30 January 2027.

She will reunite with Dram of Destiny’s master of ceremonies, acclaimed actor James Cosmo, whom the two previously played a married couple in the festive drama The Christmas Candle.

Dram of Destiny is looking to bring thousands of guests together for a traditional Burns Supper, an in-person whisky tasting, live entertainment and record attempts for the largest Burns Night Supper and the largest in-person whisky tasting.

“I am delighted to be joining Dram of Destiny for what promises to be a very special celebration of Scotland,” says Boyle. “Burns Night brings together music, storytelling, friendship and tradition, and I am looking forward to being part of the evening. It will also be wonderful to see James again.”

Elsewhere, Dram of Destiny has also confirmed family haggis maker Macsween of Edinburgh will be the official supplier of haggis for the ambitious supper.

Around 500kg of haggis will be supplied for the epic occasion, with traditional, vegetarian and vegan options all available.

“We are delighted to welcome Macsween as the official haggis supplier for Dram of Destiny,” says event organiser and founder Kevin Blair. “Haggis sits at the heart of a traditional Burns Supper, and Macsween’s heritage, quality and connection to Edinburgh make them the ideal partner for an occasion of this scale.”

The event is being delivered on a not-for-profit basis, with all proceeds remaining after operating costs donated to the My Name’5 Doddie Foundation.
