The three shortlists featuring Whisky Magazine in the Writing & Media categories are as follows:

Best Broadcast, Podcast, or Online Video Series presented by Diageo Bar Academy
• A Life in Whisky: The Dennis Malcolm Story (A documentary by Whisky Magazine)
Best Cocktail & Spirits Writing presented by Diageo Bar Academy
• “Mexican Terroir” by Liza Weisstuch, for Whisky Magazine
The next phase of voting will reveal the Top 4 finalists in each category on June 21st, with the overall winners presented in-person on July 28th in New Orleans, in partnership with Forbes.
Each category has its own co-chairs, with those representing Writing & Media including François Monti, Paul Clarke, Matthew Rowley and Sandrae Lawrence. The other categories include US, International and Global.
Also shortlisted alongside Whisky Magazine for Best Cocktail & Spirits Publication are: CLASS magazine, Difford’s Guide, Discard the Zine, DRiNK Magazine Asia, Drinks International, Liquor.com, The Cocktail Lovers magazine, The Spirits Business and VinePair.
