Tamdhu has launched the third edition of its Cigar Malt whisky.

The Cigar Malt collection utilises the brand's characteristic sherry-cask maturation to create a flavour profile that reflects the robustness and richness of a premium cigar – and to make a whisky that would pair well with a cigar.

Cigar Malt III is matured exclusively in first-fill European oak oloroso sherry casks and is bottled non-chill filtered at 53.8% ABV. Tasting notes supplied by Tamdhu say the single malt has notes of gingerbread, honey, panna cotta, dried fruits, and praline.
