The Dalmore has revealed the three news bottlings due to join its Distillery Select Series next month.
First released in 2024, the Distillery Select Series is made up of "hidden gems" from the Highland distillery's warehouses, chosen for how they represent an "interesting dimension" of the Dalmore's signature style of chocolate, orange, and soft spice.
Three limited-edition bottlings have been chosen as the 2025 series additions.
With an age statement of 13 years Old, the Cabernet Sauvignon Cask Finish (51.3% ABV, RRP £350) has been matured in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels before a two-year finish in Cabernet Sauvignon barriques. The Dalmore says the whisky has notes including warm citrus fruits, toffee, peach, balsamic, and spices.
Loire Valley Wine Cask Finish (46.8% ABV, RRP £1,000) has been bottled at 17 Years Old and has received a three-year finish in sweet wine barriques from Bouvet Ladubay in France's Loire Valley. Tasting notes by the brand highlight plums, marmalade, poaching spices, and vanilla.
The oldest and rarest whisky in the collection is Colheita Tawny Port Cask Finish (48.2% ABV, RRP £5,500), at 28 Years Old and with just 49 bottles available. The whisky was matured first in American white oak ex-bourbon barrels before a four-year finish in Colheita casks from Graham's Port, a long-standing partner of the Dalmore. The Dalmore says the whisky has notes of exotic fruit, damson plums, coffee beans, Seville orange, and allspice.
All three whiskies have been bottled with their natural colour and without chill filtration.
The Dalmore Distillery Select Series 2025 will go on general sale via the Dalmore website from 11 October 2025.
