The Glenturret Distillery has revealed its 2024 core collection, a lineup of eight bottlings which includes a new distillery-exclusive 14-year-old whisky.

The collection spans a variety of age statements and cask finishes. It includes the no-age-statement Triple Wood, a 7 Years Old Peat Smoked, 10 Years Old Peat Smoked, and 14 Years Old Peat Smoked. Also released in the core collection are the unpeated 12 Years Old and 15 Years Old expressions.

The Glenturret 14 Years Old Peat Smoked is a new expression which will be available exclusively from the Glenturret distillery. The whisky has been made from peat-smoked and non-peat-smoked spirit, aged in first fill and second fill European Oak casks.

Released as part of the core collection is Glenturret’s Extremely Scarce Range, which features 25 Years Old and 30 Years Old expressions.

Just 210 bottles of the Glenturret 25 Years Old will be released for 2024. Aged in first and second fill American and European oak casks, the distillery says the whisky has notes of pineapple, cinnamon, and ginger.

The Glenturret 30 Years Old, with a similarly limited release of 300 bottles, is drawn from four cask types: European oak, oloroso, Pedro Ximenez, and Port Pipe. Glenturret says tastings notes for the 30 Years Old include dried fruits, wood spices, citrus, and liquorice.
