St Patrick’s Day has arrived! To all of our Irish whiskey supporters, we hope you enjoy this day of celebration and festivities. To help out, we’ve provided three mouth-watering cocktails to be enjoyed!
McConnell’s & Ginger Ale
This ginger ale cocktail from McConnell’s is deliciously spicy, with a nice hint of citrus pairing perfectly with the orange peel.
Ingredients:2 oz McConnell’s 5 Year Old Irish Whisky
4 oz Premium Ginger Ale
Orange wedge or peel
Ice
Method:
Build over ice, gently stir, garnish with orange.
Tully Honey Lemonade
This honey liqueur from Tullamore is delightfully sweet, so naturally, the sourness of the lemonade and lemon complements this incredibly.
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Tullamore DEW Honey
3oz lemonade
Squeeze of fresh lemon
Top with club soda
Method:
Combine all ingredients. Stir and pour.
Teeling Irish Coffee
What better way to celebrate St Patrick’s Day than an Irish coffee? While you could get away with most Irish whiskeys as the base for this cocktail, this Teeling balances the coffee perfectly, and topping with cream creates a real St Patrick’s Day highlight.
Ingredients:
1.5 oz Teeling Small Batch Irish Whiskey
4 oz Local Coffee Roast
1.5 oz Demerara Syrup
Bar spoon of heavy cream
Nutmeg
Method:
In a warmed glass, mix Teeling Whiskey, brewed coffee, syrup and stir to combine. Top with cream from the back of a bar spoon. Garnish with grated nutmeg.
