Earlier this month, Tales of the Cocktail Spirited Awards published their 2022 Global Shortlist, with Whisky Magazine making the Top 10 in three different categories, including Best Cocktail & Spirits Publication, presented by Diageo Bar Academy.
Today, the final four shortlists have been announced, with the inspiring news that Whisky Magazine has made the shortlist for Best Cocktail & Spirits Publication.
The final phase of voting will reveal the overall winners, which will be presented in-person on July 28th at the Ritz Carlton, New Orleans, in partnership with Forbes. The ceremony will also be available to watch on the Tales of the Cocktail 2022 digital platform, and it can be viewed globally.
The chairs for this particular category – Writing & Media – include François Monti, Paul Clarke, Matthew Rowley and Sandrae Lawrence. Competing in the final four alongside Whisky Magazine are: CLASS Magazine, Discard the Zine and VinePair.
Charlotte Voisey, Spirited Awards Overall Chair, said the following: “It is with a degree of relief that we are able to once again celebrate all of the awards this year after the disruption of the pandemic. And while it may not truly be over for everyone, and the industry has indelibly been changed by the pandemic, I believe it is a significant step forward to gather together again and celebrate those bars around the world that continue to thrive. Once more I am floored by the strength and creativity of bars and bartenders everywhere.”
