The World Whiskies Awards Ireland 2025 has revealed award winners and the Icons of Whisky Ireland 2025. From established brands to independent producers, the competition aims to spotlight diversity of the Irish whisky market and beyond. The award ceremony was held on 27 February 2025 at InterContinental Dublin.

 

Icons of Whisky Ireland winners for 2025 include John Callely for Communicator of the Year, Boann Distillery for Production Team of the Year, and Teeling Whiskey Distillery for Visitor Attraction Team of the Year. Also announced during the ceremony, the Whisky Magazine Hall of Fame welcomed John Cashman from Powerscourt Distillery as its newest inductee.

 

Winners of the World Whiskies Awards Ireland will go on to compete against other winners for the World’s Best title in their category, the results of which will be announced at the World Whiskies Awards 2025 Global Dinner in March. Tickets are available to attend the awards.
