The winners have been revealed in the America round of the World Whiskies Awards 2025. The awards were held at the Brown Hotel in Louisville, Kentucky, and aim to showcase the variety and excellence of the US whiskey industry.
The announcement includes winners of World's Best in categories exclusive to American whiskey, including bourbon and Tennessee whiskey.
Icons of Whisky America winners included Koray Kaan Özdemir from Whisky Monster for Communicator of the Year, Single Cask Nation for Independent Bottler of the Year, and Bardstown Bourbon Company for Distiller of the Year.
Also announced during the ceremony was the latest inductee to the Whisky Magazine Hall of Fame: Marlene Holmes, master distiller at Milam & Greene Whiskey.
Winners of the World Whiskies Awards America 2025 will go on to compete for the World’s Best title in their category, the results of which will be announced at the World Whiskies Awards 2025 Global Dinner in March. The results from the Scotland and Rest of World award rounds have already been announced, while the Ireland results will be revealed at a ceremony later this month.
