Founded in 2004, Great Southern's owner Cameron Syme wants to put Australia on the map for whisky, as it now is for beer and wine. He chose a waterside loaction in Albany, on Australia's Western coast, for its cooler, marine environment and wealth of barley, peat and the quality of its water.
Made in small batches, Limeburners was the first ever single malt whisky produced in Western Australia.
Finding inspiration from the United States, they've also released Tiger Snake Sour Mash whiskey, another first for Western Australia.Show more
