Mark Jennings consults to the spirits industry on marketing and investment. He is a passionate advocate of well-made spirits and has led tastings across the world. He founded the world’s first cocktails at home delivery service, described by Dick Bradsell, the creator of the Espresso Martini, as “The best idea I’ve heard in years”. He is also a commentator on spirits and cocktails on television and in print, as well as judging for the International Wine and Spirits Competition, the Spirits Masters and the World Whisky Awards. Raised in Scotland, his love of whisky took a surprisingly long time to flourish. It became part of his career when working with Pernod Ricard, and is now firmly part of his identity as an honorary Ambassador for the Scotch Malt Whisky Society. His second love is all things agave-based. Of all his achievements, perhaps the proudest is having a cocktail named after him: the Mark of Respect, which became a signature serve for Teeling Irish Whiskey.
