Whisky Live Dublin, Saturday 25th October 2014

The Celtic Whiskey Shop is delighted to announce that they will run Whiskey Live Dublin 2014 in conjunction with Whisky Magazine. Ireland’s largest Whiskey event will once again be held at the Round Rooms in the Mansion House, Dawson Street, Dublin 2. Taking place on Saturday 25th October, the event is set to include the very best of Irish whiskies with all distilleries being represented. A strong selection of Scottish, Japanese and American whiskies will also be present. The event will take place in two sessions, 2.00pm-5.30pm and 6.00pm-9.30pm.

We will also be running some masterclasses throughout the day. Details to be confirmed. The previous evening will see the Irish Whiskey Awards ceremony at Jamesons Bow Street Distillery. See www.irishwhiskeyawards.com.

This year a number of top Dublin restaurants will be added to the mix to share some insights on whiskey and food matches.

Tickets are €37.50 and the Celtic Whiskey Shop will donate a minimum of €10 per ticket to Down's Syndrome Dublin. Tickets are available from www.celticwhiskeyshop.com.



Whisky Live Sandton, Wednesday 12–Friday 14 November 2014



 

The FNB Whisky Live Festival will again bring the wonderful world of whisky to Johannesburg from 12–14 November 2014, giving fans of the dram and those that are curious about the amber spirit the opportunity to sample expressions sourced from around the globe.

Running at the Sandton Convention Centre from 1800–2200 each day and building on its reputation as the largest, liveliest and most entertaining whisky lifestyle show of its kind, the thirteenth FNB Whisky Live Festival will showcase local and international whisky brands and products related to the aspirational whisky lifestyle.



Whisky Live Soweto, Friday 15 – Sunday 17 August 2014



The FNB Whisky Live Showroom in Soweto will take place at the Walter Sisulu Hall from 15–17 August, in a new, boutique-style event that offers the city’s whisky connoisseurs a rare opportunity to taste the world’s finest whiskies from Scotland, Ireland, South Africa and the United States. The event will showcase some of the world’s finest whiskies, including Kavalan, The Glenlivet, Bains Cape Mountain Whisky, Balblair, The Balvenie and Glenfiddich among others, making it possible for fans and newcomers of the precious dram to sample and purchase their favourite whiskies in an exclusive setting.
