Bowmore


(Sherriffs) Over 8 Years Old
Distillation: Sherriffs Bowmore Distillery Ltd, Islay, bottled by the proprietor, 1 Litre.
Strength: 75 UK Proof, 86 US Proof.
Presentation: Tall green glass bottle, plain white screw cap, main label white background black letters, sketch of a sailing ship in the centre in black and white, bottle contained within its original presentation carton with picture to match the label.
Comment: This Sherriffs Bowmore is referred to as the Sailing Ship Bottle, and in this size is rare.
Price Guide: £600 to £700.


Glen Garioch


15 Years Old
Distillation: Glen Garioch Distillery, Oldmeldrum, Aberdeenshire, bottled by the proprietor 1997, 70 cl.
Strength: 40 % Vol.
Presentation: Tall clear glass bottle, main label picture of the distillerywith men on a horse and cart in beige and brown on the top, rest of the label beige & white background gray, black & gold letters. Bottle contained within its wooden presentation box.
Comment: Presented by the directors of Morrison Bowmore Distillery Ltd. to the staff to celebrate the Bicentenary of Glen Garioch Distillery 1797 to 1997, also for the Queens Award for export 1997.

Springbank


25 Years Old
Distillation: Springbank Distillery, Campbeltown, Argyll, bottled by the proprietor, no contents statement. Strength: No strength statement.
Presentation: Clear dumpy glass bottle, black embossed capsule over cork stopper, shoulder label black background silver and gold letters. Main label black and white background, gold, red, white and black letters. Bottle contained within its original presentation box.
Comment: We refer to the shape of this Springbank 25 Years Old as the pear shaped bottle produced in the 1970s

Dalmore


12 Years Old
Distillation: Dalmore Distillery, Invergorden, Ross-shire, by Duncan Macbeth & Co. Ltd., bottled by the proprietor 1967, 26.2/3 flozs.
Strength: 75 Proof.
Presentation: Brown dumpy glass bottle, embossed white & black capsule, shoulder label black background white letters stating Centenary Bottling. Main label black background white & gold letters, rear label black background white letters.
Comment: This Dalmore 12 Years Old was bottled for the centenary of the distillery(1867-1967 )
Price Guide: £650 to £800.


The Macallan


10 Years Old
Distillation: Macallan Distillery, Craigellachie, Banffshire, bottled by the proprietor 2008, 700 ml.
Strength: 57.4 % Vol.
Presentation: Tall clear bottle, embossed gold coloured capsule over cork stopper, shoulder label white background gold letters. Main label white background gold, blue & black letters. Rear label white background black letters. Bottle contained within its original box together with a certificate of authenticity.
Comment: This Macallan 10 Years Old was produced to celebrate 10 years of Whisky Magazine with a limited number of 300 bottles.

Glendronach


19 Years Old
Distillation: Glendronach Distillery, Forgue, by Huntly, Aberdeenshire, bottled by the proprietor
Strength: 45% Vol. 90 US Proof.
Presentation: Tall clear glass bottle, plain gold coloured foil capsule over cork stopper, top label white background black and gold letters. Main label blue background orange and gold letters. Bottle contained within its original cardboard carton printed to match the label.
Comment: This Glendronach 19 Years Old was produced to be sold in the American market.
