Whisky Live Paris

The Paris stock exchange will welcome all enthusiasts of uisge beatha on Sunday 25th September (general public) and on Monday 26th September 2005 (professionals only) for the second Whisky Live Paris.The event will bring together around 60 exhibitors including more than 50 distilleries from around the world: Scotland, Ireland, the United States, Japan, Wales, France and India. The master distillers and blenders of these distilleries will encourage you to taste their best whiskies and their latest innovations. The list of the exhibitors is available online at www.whisky.fr.Whisky Live Paris is organized by La Maison du Whisky in partnership with Whisky Magazine, Whisky Live Paris under the moniker of the Gourmet Alliances. Events include food matching, a whisky and cigar tasting, conferences and seminars. Tastings
The participants will freely taste different whiskies from Scotland, Ireland, the United-States and other countries such as Japan, Wales, France, India. Other wines and spirits will also be available (rum and sherry).Gourmet Alliances
These include: Whisky & cocktails Mr Eric Fossard, head barman, made his apprenticeship in London. His philosophy: use the best ingredients to get the best cocktails.Whisky & cheese
The whisky and our national cheese perfectly match together. The cheesemonger-refiner Ronalba will show us that the old alliance between Scotland and France is not only a symbolic one.Whisky & chocolate
The pastry cook Mr Pierre Hermé, another famous taste craftsman, will lead us through his gourmet creations using chocolate.
