Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Elegant and complex. There's an instant turfy/peaty lift mixed with moist fruit cake, nuts, cooked fruits, dark honey and burnt sugar.
Palate: Sweet toffee/treacle start. Juicy malt and soft grains with puffs of smoke give it an extra layer of complexity.
Finish: Long, quite nutty and lightly smoky.
Comment: Complex and ever-changing.

Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Sweet. Lemongrass. Honeydew melon. Sweet lime.
Palate: Big body. Hard toffee. Liquorice. Juicy, with a suggestion of anise. Lots of late flavour development.
Finish: Floral (jasmine?) but firm and gripping.
Comment: Robust, hearty, embracing. Not much subtlety, but it knows its own mind. Very enjoyable. I imagine this with a decadent meal in Tangier.
