Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Clean and crisp. Nougat, white chocolate. Dusty smell (the inside of a vacuum cleaner). Lemon chewing-gum.
Palate: Velvety, mouthcoating. Quite herbal. Distant peat. A bit harsh.
Finish: Dry, spicy. Hot chilli.
Comment: Interesting, not very well balanced but enjoyable on a cold frosty morning (or after having vacuum cleaned !).
8.3
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Cream soda sweetness punctuated by gluey hints.
Palate: Smooth, slightly drying. Hot and a little salty. Pastis. Mint.
Finish: Silky, warming and curiously reminiscent of mint imperials. (Drier with water).
Comment: A lot going on in this whisky; can't help thinking about a Mint Julep, though.
