Tasting notes
Taster   Neil Ridley
Nose: A sweet mash bill going on here. Some very tasty, soft sweet cream, fresh cherries, bags of vanilla and a hint of some earthy maltiness. Very well balanced indeed.
Palate: The cherries are hugely up front, with dark chocolate, warming spice (clove) fresh vanilla pods and a tingling spirit note underneath.
Finish: Fresh cherries and cream, sit nicely alongside a fragrant and slightly dry oak.
Comment: Broad shouldered and muscular, but a lighter side too. Like finding out Jean Claude Van Damme secretly uses moisturiser. Now there's an image to behold.
8.4
Taster   Annabel Meikle
Nose: Intense and fizzy then soft nectar and brandy liqueur. Scented fruit potpourri and liquorice. With water pink confectionary sprung out, mallow, cherry cola and strawberry sherbet.
Palate: Strawberry ice cream with sugared rose petals. An amalgam of liquorice, plum and cherry syrup. Pink berries folded through meringue and Hubba Bubba bubble gum.
Finish: Plump, juicy confectionary sweetness. Is this flavoured?
Comment: Upfront, in your face and hard to dislike. If Dolly Parton was a whisky – it’s this!
