Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Floral and grassy. Honeysuckle, drying straw. Opening on farmyard scents.
Palate: Sweet and smooth. The same grassy notes as on the nose. The alcohol is well mastered. Tablet, a buttery touch. Surprisingly sweet for the strength. Getting spicier. Ground ginger. Refreshing. With water, more mint.
Finish: Dry and spicy.
Comment: A very refreshing dram especially with a dash of water. Not a great deal of complexity but a good structure to it.

Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: Hay briar, horse boxes, tack rooms, quite autumnal with drying leaves, cut grass and just a little damp earth.
Palate: Those leaves and grass notes come through. Thyme scented butter, lavender bread. Spices slowly start to build as well.
Finish: Slightly astringent with spices.
Comment: A really well put together whisky, well integrated and balanced.
