Tasting notes
Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: Initial char note, smoky fruit and a hint of cough medicine.
Palate: Full and spicy, with stewed fruits and black pepper.
Finish: Long, barbecue embers, allspice, aniseed balls.
Comment: Very drinkable at high strength. Intriguing!

Taster   Joe Bates
Nose: Somewhat closed up, but a drop of water releases some gentle floral aromas.
Palate: An intense fruity palate. Think dried fruits, oak spice and some ripe peaches too.
Finish: The finish is long, warming with a final kick of pepper.
Comment: At 51.5% ABV a drop or two of water is needed to open up and soften what is otherwise quite a full-on whisky.
