Tasting notes
Taster   Rob Allanson
Nose: There is rye here in a big way but also an odd note, like a warming radiator. Some lemon zest and a little lavender like aroma.
Palate: Gentle, and while the rye pep is there it is not as well integrated as other ryes.
Finish: A little flinty.
Comment: A decent introduction to the category but loses out to the bigger characters.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Good full-on rye dusty spiciness, but a slightly metallic/solvent note suggestive of youth. Some floral notes. Yeasty/rising sourdough bread. Polished linoleum
Palate: Light and a little flat. Lots of floury character but little wood integration.Dies with water.
Finish: Buzzy.
Comment: Lacks personality and complexity.
