Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Lightly oiled soft leather, old peach, pine sap/yew tree. With water an incredible citrus oil lift: pine, elderflower, honeycomb, lime blossom. Estery and perfumed.
Palate: This floats across the palate having both delicacy and complexity. Honeycomb (sweetness and waxiness). Good feel.
Finish: Clean medium length good sweetness.
Comment: Once again here's a great example of that Japanese lightness of character.

Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Intense. Sweet and sour. Fruity. Apple and pear cider. Vanilla toffee gradually emerging. Touch of chicken broth.
Palate: Sweet start then oak comes in the front, in an elegant manner though. Good sweet and sour balance. Keeps the fruit up. A distant peaty echo.
Finish: Well balanced, rather short but clean.
Comment: For those who like cider rather sour than sweet! interesting combination for a whisky cooler. A refreshing aperitif.
