Tasting notes
Taster   Joe Bates
Nose: Some sherry, dried fruit and woody notes predominate on the nose.
Palate: Seems a bit of a sherry monster on first sip: prunes, figs, cinnamon and nutmeg, walnuts and treacle. What’s not to like?
Finish: Rich complex, sherried finish that takes its time leaving!
Comment: If you a like a sherried style of whisky this one is definitely for you. Complex, rich and beautifully mature.

Taster   Gavin D. Smith
Nose: Slightly earthy early on, then cereal notes and ripe red apples develop.
Palate: Bold peach notes, vanilla and a sprinkling of chilli.
Finish: Lengthy, with black pepper and a touch of liquorice.
Comment: A very solid and dependable whisky.
