Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Fruity, sweet, sticky. Prunes in a pie?
Palate: Hard sponge cake, soaked in syrup. Reminded me of the Turkish cake called Kateife.
Finish: Nutty. Walnuts, mint toffee.
Comment: Still sweet, but much more rounded. Real depth of flavour, tastes more like Armagnac than whisky. I would like to try it with pecan pie.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Ripe and perfumed: black fruit, wild flowers, apple, candle wax, cereal/hay loft, dry oak. Sweetens with water.
Palate: Sweet with a silky feel. Black fruit in centre alongside crisp malt. Decent grip.
Finish: Sweet fruits then dry oak.
Comment: The best balanced of the three.
