Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Buttercups, clover, sweet grass, honey and a tender touch of sherry.
Palate: Flowers softened and sweetened by sherry. Honey, junket, very lightly nutty dryness.
Finish: Candied angelica, honey-coated nuts.
Comment: A deft balance between the whisky's own character and the sherry.

Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: A hint of smoke and plethora of other delicate aromas. Primroses and sandalwood, faint marzipan and passion fruit. Stunning.
Palate: Delicate, with very firm malt and gentle spice.
Finish: Relatively flat, dependent on a burnt mallow and vanilla oakiness.
Comment: Fabulous whisky, though never quite living up to the expectation built by the astonishing nose.
