Tasting notes
Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: Light, vaguely doughy and suet-like, with an understated oaky backbone.
Palate: Warming and very sweet from the start with some prime bourbony characteristics.
Finish: Very soft smoke, a hint of toffee and vanilla.
Comment: A charming, almost shy malt that must be drunk at full strength to appreciate its guile and complexity.
8.5
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Marshmallow and toasted coconut.
Palate: Oily and chewy. Bitter chocolate, becoming extraordinarily fruity, then sweetish.
Finish: Gentle, fruity. Reminiscent of lemon peels.
Comment: Lighter and more delicate than the 21 Years Old that appeared in a Wedgwood decanter in years past.
