Tasting notes
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Intense, mature and complex. Fruit coulis made from slightly tart hedgerow fruits and mint. Raspberry leaf, light cream, beech nut, patisserie.
Palate: Layers of flavour with a zesty, citric quality. Balanced oak, Seville orange, mulled wine. Firm and nutty structure but has sweetness to balance.
Finish: Long, generous, complex.
Comment: This is a stunningly great whisky, subtle and profound...

Taster   Arthur Motley
Nose: Fragrant, like a guava or kushi pear. Floor polish, mint syrup, artificial cherry flavour and a whiff of wood glue.
Palate: Orange, raisins, goosberries and a balsa woodiness indicating a good bit of age.
Finish: A light burnt character, and possibly some rose. Relatively subtle, whispering of its age.
Comment: Complex, old, not perfect, but good darned fun!
