Tasting notes
Taster   Marcin Miller
Nose: Very rounded and attractive. Warm enveloping custard. Créme anglais. Smells like whisky!
Palate: Bursts into life. Still assertive, still attacking. Tastes like whisky!
Finish: Long and very bright. Consistent. Repeat to fade.
Comment: Great balance and brilliantly structured. More please.
8.3
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Slight smokiness. Beeswax. Honey. Floral. Heathery.
Palate: Honey cake. Ginger. Spicy complexity.
Finish: Long. Gently warming. Lemony dryness. Rounded with a hint of peat.
Comment: Very sweet but the classic heather honey is balanced by the gently peaty, smoky dryness that has vanished from most Highland malts.
