Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Notes of sherry, fruit, chocolate, and ginger.
Palate: Sherry, raisins, chocolate, ginger. Quite luxurious.
Finish: Unhurried, with chocolatey notes and gingery dryness.
Comment: Salient house characteristics, especially the chocolate, at their boldest and most sustained.
8.5
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Autumnal. Damp leaves, turned earth, chocolate truffle, hint of rancio. Barley sugar, privet.
Palate: Very smooth and silky. Good maturity. Cereal notes. Crisp, woody texture.
Finish: Short.
Comment: Another where the nose promises a lot, but the palate doesn't quite deliver.
7.5
