Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Smoky. Some phenol.
Palate: Silky. Sweetish. Sherryish. Syrupy.
Finish: Quite assertive. Late crisp oakiness. Some peatiness. Some warming alcohol. Long.
Comment: Very slow, long, flavour development. Gets up to speed at the very end.
8.8
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Clean and quite creamy. Seems young. There's a hint of smoke. Not overly complex.
Palate: Medium-bodied with a clean honeyed palate and some peat smoke lurking in the background. Good-ish balance.
Finish: Long sweet and honeyed. A tickle of smoke.
Comment: Vivacious but no great depth.
