Tasting notes
Taster   Martine Nouet
Nose: Floral. Carnation, peony. Quite heady scent. Followed by warm malty notes. And slowly unwinding a light veil of smoke which hovers over the malty core. With a smoked fish touch.
Palate: Sweet with this heady note. Crystallised Parma violet. A Bowmore? The smoke stays in the back.
Finish: Dry. Tightened.
Comment: The Bowmore character shows out on the palate with this floral touch. But the peatiness has nearly vanished.

Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: A bathroom cabinet, coconut hair conditioner, perfumed soap, lavenderbody lotion. Settles down to show light smoke and dried flowers, but that intense perfume remains in the background, though it is diminished slightly with water.
Palate: Sweet to start, then a sudden drying with dried flowers, old Seville orangepeel and peat fire ashes.
Finish: Perfumed again. Dry smoke.
Comment: One of those Bowmores.
