Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Musty. Sweet-and-dry.
Palate: Chocolately. Coco beans. \"Cream sherry.\" Also meaty yeast notes. Reminiscent of barley wine or Lambic beer.
Finish: Very vinous. Again, the wine dominates.
Comment: I am totally seduced by its eccentricity and intensity. Where's the whisky? who cares? Pour me another. Bring on the chicken mole.....
8.3
Taster   Dave Broom
Nose: Exotic. Damp straw, nut, malt, acacia. In time there's caramel, tarte tatin, dried pear, nuts.
Palate: Sweet, but with a dry, grippy, undertow. Good concentration: nuts, toffee. Firms towards the finish.
Finish: Where it happens: hazelnut, pears, dried fruits and nut bowl.
Comment: A new flavour and a valid one. Well handled. Just a little grippy for me.
