Tasting notes
Taster   Michael Jackson
Nose: Burnt-heather smokiness. Sappy oak.
Palate: Very luxurious. Beeswax and honey. Bitter black chocolate. Treacle toffee. Anise.
Finish: Spicy. satisfying. Long.
Comment: This is an urbane whisky that will not easily reveal itself. Take your time with it. Enjoy its company.
9.3
Taster   Jim Murray
Nose: Wild blackberries add some fruity lustre to an otherwise oaky yet understated aroma.
Palate: An explosion of grape and spice.
Finish: Long, continually fruity yet still smoky.
Comment: Anyone who reckons Glenfiddich is not a top-rate distillery should sample this.
